Juniper Bloom sells stone and metal jewelry for ordinary days: bead bracelets, small pendants, copper cuffs and rings, anklets and fine chains for layering, plus pocket stones, keyrings and a few pouches and trays to keep it all in. Before a piece is listed, we wear it for a full day, so we can tell you how it sits on a wrist or under a collar.

While it is on, we open and close the clasp, pull gently on the cord and look at how the finish holds up. Then we write the listing in plain words. A dyed stone is called dyed, a plated chain is called plated, and an opal-look bead is never sold to you as opal. If a stone carries a traditional meaning, you will read it once, as background, and nothing more.
