This policy explains what JennyCart LLC learns about you when you browse juniperbloomwares.com or order from Juniper Bloom, what we do with it, and the choices you have. JennyCart LLC is a Delaware limited liability company and the business responsible for that information.
1. What We Collect
The list is brief, because filling an order and writing back to you takes very little.
- Checkout details: your name, email address, shipping address, a billing address if it is different, and a phone number if you add one. You also enter card details at checkout; Section 4 explains where those go.
- Messages you send: whatever you write through the contact or cancel forms or by email, usually alongside your name, email address and order number.
- Request data: the basics any web server receives when a page loads, such as IP address, browser type, device, the page asked for and the time.
juniperbloomwares.com has no customer accounts, so we hold no passwords. We run no analytics or advertising tags.
2. How We Use It
Your details let us take payment, box up and ship your order, send your receipt and tracking emails, answer your questions, and handle cancellations, returns and refunds.
We also look over order and request data to catch fraud and keep the shop secure, and we hold on to financial records because tax and accounting rules call for them.
We do not use your information to show you ads, and we do not build a profile of you.
3. Service Providers and Disclosure
Your personal information is never sold by us, nor shared for cross-context behavioral advertising. It reaches only the outside companies we rely on to keep Juniper Bloom working, and each gets just the part it needs:
- Cloudflare, which hosts the site and serves its images
- our order management system and payment processors, which record orders and take payment
- PayPal, when you choose to pay with it
- an email delivery service, which sends receipts and shipping updates
- the carrier bringing your parcel, which gets your name, address and sometimes a phone number
These providers handle your information to do work for us. PayPal also applies its own privacy policy when you pay through it. Beyond that, we disclose information only when the law requires it, to protect customers or ourselves against fraud, or to a buyer if the business is ever sold, in which case this policy keeps applying to what you gave us.
4. Card Payments
Card numbers typed into checkout are passed to our payment processor, which handles them under the card industry's PCI DSS security standard. We do not store full card numbers or security codes. The record we may keep of a payment is limited to the amount, the date, the card type and its last four digits.
5. Keeping Data Safe
Every page loads over HTTPS. Access to order information is limited to the people who need it to fill orders and answer you, and we choose service providers partly on how they protect data. No system can promise complete security, so if we ever find out that a breach has touched your information, we will notify you as the law requires.
6. Retention
Order and payment records are kept for seven years to cover tax and accounting requirements. Support emails and form messages are kept for two years after our last reply, then deleted. Server request logs are kept briefly for security and then discarded. If you ask us to delete your information, we remove everything we are not required to keep.
7. Processing Location
JennyCart LLC is based in the United States and sells to US customers only. Your information is stored and processed in the US. Some providers, Cloudflare among them, run networks with servers in other countries, so data on its way to us may pass through those servers; they protect it under their own security commitments.
8. Your Choices and Rights
Depending on the state you live in, privacy laws such as California's CCPA, as amended by the CPRA, may give you the right to:
- know what personal information we hold about you and receive a copy
- have inaccurate information corrected
- have information deleted that we are not required to keep
- tell us not to sell or share your information, though we do neither in any case (our opt-out page explains)
- appeal if we turn a request down
To use any of these rights, email support@juniperbloomwares.com. We confirm that the request arrived, may ask you to confirm details from an order so we know it is yours, and give you an answer within 30 days. An authorized agent may also ask for you. Using a right never changes the price or the service you get from us.
9. Cookies, GPC and Do Not Track
The site sets one necessary cookie, __Host-ck, which holds your checkout session together for up to 90 minutes. Your bag and your cookie banner choice live in your browser's local storage rather than in cookies. With no analytics or advertising tags running, there is nothing optional to switch off, yet we still honor Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals as an opt-out. Our Cookie Policy has the full table.
10. Outside Links
Some pages link elsewhere, for example to a carrier's tracking page or to PayPal. Those sites follow their own privacy policies, which we have no say over, so it is worth reading theirs before you share anything there.
11. Minors
Juniper Bloom sells to adults. Orders are accepted only from people aged 18 or over, and we never knowingly gather personal information from children or anyone below that age. If you believe a child has sent us details, email support@juniperbloomwares.com and we will delete them.
12. Changes to This Policy
When this policy changes, we post the new version here and update the date shown on this page. If an update alters the way we handle information you already gave us, we email you before it applies.
